Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our excess liability aviation insurance program.

Excess Liability is coverage that sits above your client’s primary aircraft liability policy. Once the primary limit is exhausted, it activates providing extra protection in case of a catastrophic loss.

Pleasure and business aircraft, owner-flown operations, limited commercial use, and turbine rotor-wing aircraft with up to ten seats. Experimental aircraft, instruction and rental operations, and piston rotor-wing aircraft are excluded.

The primary policy must have at least $1 million Combined Single Limit (CSL) in liability coverage.

Up to $10 million in excess limits, depending on the risk profile and underwriting review.

All coverage is backed by Policies issued by an A+ (superior) AM Best rated global carrier offering both financial strength and stability.

Send the same underwriting information used for the primary placement (policy limits, aircraft type, usage, and pilot details) to [email protected].

Most quotes are returned within 24-48 hours after receipt of a complete submission.

We operate exclusively through licensed brokers and agents.

We do not offer coverage options for experimental, instruction, rental, or piston rotor-wing aircraft.

We often participate in layered programs and renewals where brokers need to maintain or expand limits.
